Our history
We met in Sundsvall in early 2013. Pernilla was working as a teacher at the local school in Söråker and Simon, earning his wage as a music teacher, held classes at the same school once a week. Later during a 'snowboard-date' at 'Skönviksbacken' we decided to become a couple. On July 27 2020 Simon proposed on the pebble beach in Gäddviken (one of our favourite summer spots) with Pernilla's sister, Evelina as witness. Afterwards we had a tiny celebration with re-heated coffee and 'kanelgifflar' before heading to the train station to pick up our two friends Katie and Hampus for our upcoming hiking trip to Skuleskogen.
The Wedding
Will be held outdoors at Tynderö Hembygsgård. We are praying for a sunny day, but do consider to bring an umbrella just in case.
The ceremony starts at 14.00
The Party
After the ceremony we will arrange chill but fun activities and some snacks. At 17:00 dinner will be served in the adjacent building. Beer, wine and soda is on the house during dinner but afterwards is only available at cost price. If you rather want to bring your own beverages feel free to do so!
The location
We are getting married at Tynderö Hembygdsgård, located at a walking distance from Gäddviken. You will find the hembygdsgård (previously a church school) opposite to Tynderö Kyrka about 10 kilometers south east of Söråker. Tynderö is today filled with summer houses and hidden beaches but historically it has been inhabited by fishing and farming communities.
